Inga Shepeleva is a poet, writer born in 1987 in Yakutsk. She graduated from Gorky University and has published her poetry on syg.ma, literratura.org, and polutona.ru. Inga has participated in music and poetry festivals, including Structurality (Moscow), Pushkin Laboratories (St.Petersburg) and Totaldobže Karostas ūdenstornī (Latvia).
She is the winner of the festival of video poetry “Fifth leg” (2017) and International Video Poetry Festival in Athens (2018).
In all her works she investigates the sense and problems of the word and the image and relation between them from numerous points of view (historic perspective and in contemporary cultural context ) and
explore the word in different contemporary interpretation like interection with electronic music, academic avanguard and video-art.
