Christine Burke is a Lancashire Lass, language graduate and poet. Her first attempt at writing was a gardening book, A Year in my Garden, which led to talks, garden tours and teas, and fame! at least fifteen minutes worth. A member of Manchester Stanza, Real Live Poets, Southport Writing Circle, and now Damson Poets, she collaborates with an illustrator for images to enhance her poetry.
