Reminiscence – Bálint Kerhut – Dóra Paszternák – Hungary

An amateur artist recalls the face of his long-lost love to shape it out of clay as the last remaining souvenir.

Bálint Kerhut is a Hungarian director, editor, and cinematographer. He studied screenwriting at the Budapest Film Academy. He makes music videos and short films since 2016 and he contributed to several independent productions in Hungary. In 2019 he received the Special Jury Prize for his experimental short film “Inside You” at the Zsigmond Vilmos Film Festival. “Reminiscence” is his first narrative short film.

Director Statement

Reminiscence is a poem-inspired story about regrets, when it is too late to appreciate the love that we once let go.
