A launderette is a warm inviting place well washed and orderly unlike the homeless outside who are not well washed.
David Punter is a poet and writer based in Bristol, UK. He has had a long and varied career as an academic, working at universities in England, Scotland, China and Hong Kong (before Hong Kong became part of China!). During all this time, he has written, published and performed poetr and he now able to devote his energies full-time to poetry.
