Mänttä Art Festival, will be postponing this year’s exhibition until the year 2021. This year’s exhibition curator, the artists and the theme will remain, to create the exhibition in 2021. – The exhibition organisers have decided to make what seems to be the only logical choice at this time. The safety of our artists, staff and exhibition visitors, is our primary concern. Explains the festival’s director Tiina Nyrhinen. The new dates for the festival are currently set for June13th, until August 31st, 2021.

Anna Ruth is the curator of the exhibition. The exhibition title is Erehtyminen / To Err Is Human and it presents 47 artists or artist groups. The exhibition highlights the diversity of contemporary art in artistic mediums, styles, perspectives, languages and nationalities. Almost half of the artists come from multicultural background. The Mänttä Art Festival is the largest summer exhibition of Finnish contemporary art. The award-winning Mänttä Art Festival is a destination regarded highly by art professionals and much loved by the general public.
