Love in Nine Postcards around the World is a journey in the poetics of the worlds of Ese and Ele. Ese is a journalist and has to travel due to work. Meanwhile, Ele (her partner) stays at home with his plants and his work as a biologist as company. In her absence, they correspond with postcards between Ese’s enthusiasm for her travels and Ele’s nostalgia, their correspondence comes to embody their love, which is inevitably transformed with time and distance.
Ana Maria Vallejo is a creative animation filmmaker and independent media artist based in Weimar, Germany, producing animations for social media, explainers and spots, both with analoge and digital techniques. She likes to direct audiovisual projects and to collab with other animator and artists.
