Inga Shepeleva is a poet, writer born in 1987 in Yakutsk. She graduated from Gorky University and has published her poetry on syg.ma, literratura.org, and polutona.ru. Inga has participated in music and poetry festivals, including Structurality (Moscow), Pushkin Laboratories (St.Petersburg), Totaldobže Karostas ūdenstornī (Latvia), the festival of video poetry “Fifth leg” (2016-2017), and International Video Poetry Festival in Athens (2017).
The Institute for Experimental Arts submitted this wonderful film among others as official group participation at the Festival of Hope #1 – Versopolis.
In all her works, Inga Shepeleva investigates the relationship between word and image from numerous historical and contemporary points of view. She explores the word in different contemporary cultural contexts, like its interaction with electronic music, academic vanguard, and video-art.
