Through nocturnal nature motifs, a robotic voice reflects on memory. Dots is the fruit of a playful and experimental creative process. The footage was made completely independently of the text. Then, in editing, everything was put together more or less arbitrarily. Ultimately, this approach shone a light on the beautiful freshness and spontaneity of coincidence. The robotic, artificial voice is meant to stand in contrast to the organic motifs of nature at nighttime. Tying them together in the grainy camera aesthetic, I have intended to create a reflective tone in which the difference of the components slowly dissolves, like the fading of a memory.
